This sparkling wine is made by blending two different grape varieties (Chenin and Chardonnay) sourced from vineyards in plots such as "Les Culs de Boeuf" that face west, "Les Beauvoirs" that face east, and "Ouchonnerie" that face south.
Jean-Baptiste Bonnigal and Stephane Bodet have been close friends for a long time. After an experience In New Zealand and Australia, Jean-Baptiste has worked with Fran?ois Chidaine in Montlouis-sur-Loire. Then he invited Stephane to join him in managing the family domaine in Limeray, near Amboise. Domaine Bonnigal Bodet is located on a hillside on the north bank of the Loire and specializes in cultivating chenin and chardonnay grapes. The winery produces wines from two main appellations : Touraine and Cremant de Loire.
