The wine has a sparkling robe of bright ruby red. The nose is very complex, with floral and fruity notes, complemented by a subtle mineral touch. La Perri?re 1er Cru comes from limestone with entropic fragments, and the topsoil is a brown limestone, adding depth and character to the wine.
This 9 hectares estate located in Gevrey Chambertin owns an exciting vineyards. In total it's no less than 47 parcels that the domaine is vinifying. In addition to Premier Cru and Grand Cru holdings, it also produces an interesting selection of single vineyards village wines.
