On the nose, the wine reveals a complex aromatic palette with notes of Sichuan pepper, red berries, a touch of cedar and bitter chocolate. We can also distinguish beautiful touches of ripe black fruits and a hint of mint. The palate perfectly reflects the aromatic framework of the nose by displaying pretty notes of ripe fruit such as blackcurrant, blueberry or even black cherry.

Aurelien Chatagnier is one of the rising talents of the Northern Rhone. His recent fame is due to his mastery of winemaking in his magnificent vintage ?Sybarite? from Saint-Joseph. Aurelien Chatagnier began his operation in 2002 with 1.2 hectares for rent, mainly planted with local wines. He maintained a complementary activity until 2005, which allowed him to develop little by little, with the help of a few caring winegrowers (notably Pierre Gaillard). Today, the farm consists of a little more than 6 hectares.
