The lieu dit Pierre Aiguille is very close from Hermitage. This parcel has a sout east exposure, 90% of the grapes are vinified in whole cluster and the wine is aged for 14 months in used barrels. The nose is dominated with black fruits with hints of white pepper. The palate is fresh and shows a nice tension all the way down to a long finish.
Julien and his wife Nancy are a really talended young winemakers couple. Their wines are trully elegant and have a wonderful texture which will definitely challenge your thoughts about how syrah can feel like.
