This Gevrey-Chambertin Combe de Dessus boasts a clearly defined aroma. The use of 10% stems introduces a subtle peppery note, and as it opens up, nuances of dried blood begin to surface, enhancing the dark berry flavors. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and showcases smooth tannins.
Amelie is now in charge of the domaine. She heritated the vineyard of Fixin and Gevrey Chambertin from her father's family and the one of Vosne Romanee, Chambolle Musigny and Vougeot from her mother. She produces very elegant and remarkably fruit driven wines.
