The grapes come from two different parcels: Les Nampoillons and Les Closeaux. The wine is a very good benchmark of the Auxey Duresses appellation. It has racy tension, fresh fruit and crisp acidity. The aromas are centered around citrus and the finish is very mouthwatering.
Jean-Philippe Fichet has been based in Cote de Beaune since 1981, where he vinified his first vintage at just 20 years old. Jean-Philippe has one conviction: the quality of a wine depends above all on the quality of the work in the vineyard. Hishis Meursault, like his other vintages from Burgundy or Auxey-Duresses, are models of elegance. Fine, mineral but also generous, they will, without a doubt, satisfy demanding chardonnay lovers.
