A structured gamay grown on vines of over 60 years old. The nose displays a lovely concentration of red berries. The palate is soft and juicy yet concentrated with firm tannins on the finish.
Jean-Louis Dutraive is at the head of domaine de la Grand Cour since 1989. He is one of the leader in Beaujolais organic and natural wine scene and probably one of the region most important characters. Always here to give a hand to fellow winemakers, a word to young people settling down or a warm welcome to visitors. His wines are like him: generous and highly explosive.
