The nose offers a rich bouquet of red fruits, gamey and spices aromas. The palate displays the fruitiness of the grenache and the wild animal side of the mourvedre. It is fresh and round with subtle tannins.
Marcel Richaud is the 5th generation to cultivate for the family domaine. He took over from his father in 1974 at the early age of 20 years old and started to farm by organic methods at the very beginning. In this respect, domaine Marcel Richaud was one of the first organic domaine in the country and Marcel became a leader of the organic wine scene. Over the last few years Marcel's children (Thomas, Claire and Edith) joined the domaine and are carrying their father's heritage forward.
