This wine has a fresh nose ofed berries and herbs. The palate is very juicy and refreshing. The carbonic maceration gives it a pure fruit expression. The wet rock minerality support the palate all the way down to a coolish finish. Serve it slightly chilled to enjoy it at its best.
Jean-Louis Dutraive is at the head of domaine de la Grand Cour since 1989. He is one of the leader in Beaujolais organic and natural wine scene and probably one of the region most important characters. Always here to give a hand to fellow winemakers, a word to young people settling down or a warm welcome to visitors. His wines are like him: generous and highly explosive.
