A blend of two viognier parcels located in Limony. One with southern exposure and bit of clay for richness and the other one with eastern exposure and pure granite soil for elegance and finesse. The nose is fresh and delivers subtle aromas of yellow fruits and stone fruits. The palate is rich but underlined with an impressive sense of freshness which carries it all the way down to a subtle floral finish.
Aurelien Chatagnier is known as one of the best young winemakers in the Rhone Valley region. He's crafting very pure and lean wines from organically farmed vineyards. A producer who deserves all our attention.
