Les Deduits is a 100% Gamay, hand-harvested grapes from old vine plots. No added sulfur during fermentation, vinified in concrete tanks and aged for 6 months in oak barrels. Complexe palate with dark fruits and silky tannins. The texture is smooth and after taste is fresh with slight acidity.
Jean-Louis Dutraive is at the head of domaine de la Grand Cour since 1989. He is one of the leader in Beaujolais organic and natural wine scene and probably one of the region most important characters. Always here to give a hand to fellow winemakers, a word to young people settling down or a warm welcome to visitors. His wines are like him: generous and highly explosive.
