Bright, steely and full of energy. Citrus confit, lime. white flowers, mint, pepper and sage give the Blanchais a very distinctive upper register. An initial feeling of airiness dissipates as the Blanchais makes its understated power felt.
Used to be seen as a poor Sancerre, Menetou Salou is now hosting great winemakers producing vibrant wines at very good price. Domaine Henri Pelle is definitely one of them.
