VdP des Collines Rhodaniennes Syrah De L'Autre Rive Domaine Pilon 2019

This Vin de Pays des Collines Rhodaniennes offers a nose of red and black fruits with floral notes and spiciness. The palate is lively and dominated by small red berries flavours. The mid palate reveals a quick of liquorice spiciness and meaty favours. The tannins are smooth and the acidity is very pleasant.

After 10 years of learning from some famous winemakers in France and Spain, Julien Pilon started his own domaine in 2010 and used to describe himself as a oelandless winemaker? as he started with rented vines. Today, Julien is working 5 hectares of vines, some owned, some rented and he is still buying grapes on the side for most of the production. The vines are farmed organically and the domaine just started the certification process. 80 percent of Julien?s production is white. He strives to produce white wines with flesh but with maximum freshness too. He wants to make balanced and precise whites.
