The wine offers a smoky bouquet with hints of smoked black cherries, black tee and wild flowers. The palate shows slightly spicy flavours of ripe red fruits with perfectly integrated tannins. The finish is long on notes of vanilla and spice.
Domaine Robert Ampeau et Fils?was founded by the grandfather of the current owner - Michel AMAP. At the beginning of last century, he bought several plots of vineyards in Volnay and Meursault. Over the years of successful economic management Robert AMAP acquired new areas of vineyards in Pommaret, Puligny Montrachet, as well as in Auxey-Duresses, Blagny and Meursault.
