This red wine represents the excellence of the Vosne-Romanee appellation. The nose reveals aromas of ripe red fruits, black cherry, blackberry, and subtle nuances of spices.The palate is elegant and well balanced, with silky tannins and strong acidity. Flavors of red fruits, licorice, violet.
Amelie is now in charge of the domaine. She heritated the vineyard of Fixin and Gevrey Chambertin from her father's family and the one of Vosne Romanee, Chambolle Musigny and Vougeot from her mother. She produces very elegant and remarkably fruit driven wines.The estate now covers 18 hectares, mainly in Fixin, but also Gevrey Chambertin, Vosne Romanee and Flagey Echezeaux. The production only of wines of Controlled Designation of Origin is 90% red.
