Château de Béru
Château de Béru
Château de Béru is a family-owned wine estate in the Chablis region of Burgundy, France. The domain, spanning fifteen hectares, practices biodynamic viticulture and low-intervention winemaking to highlight the unique terroir and vintage characteristics. The vines, planted around a hill, are managed to achieve natural balance, reflecting the soil and climate.
The winemaking process involves careful consideration of harvest dates, pressing cycles, and vatting to enhance the grapes' natural qualities. Wines are produced without additives and aged according to natural cycles, with some vintages bottled without added sulfites since 2012. The estate, owned by the Béru family for over 400 years, continues its legacy with Athénaïs de Béru vinifying her first vintage in 2005.
