A budding romance between two neighboring Loire Valley wine families flowered into what is now Domaine Luneau-Papin. Pierre-Marie Luneau, the son of Pierre Luneau and Monique Papin, now runs the estate with his wife Marie. They tirelessly fight to establish official recognition for the Muscadet region. Pierre-Marie has led the winery since he took over the estate in 2004. His wife Marie joined him in 2008. She created the association Les Vins de Nantes, a passionate community of outstanding winemakers who campaign to elevate the reputation of the appellation.
