The wine is made exclusively out of vines more than 70 years old. The nose is complex and offers intense notes of spice, red fruits and fennel. The palate is very dense with perfectly integrated tannins. The rich red fruit flavours are balanced with a great freshness underlined all the way down to a long and elegant finish.
Clotaire Michal started his career in the Rhone Valley and settled a few years ago in Beaujolais. He's producing only two cuv??es vinified in a natural style giving birth to wonderfully concentrated gamay wines.
